Hello,
So I got a Kessil ap700. I was messing around with the app today and doing some googling. what you guys think of using the standard programming 9-21 with this color cycle red, redishpruple, purple, purple blue, green, yellow green. I got live rock

It is hard to get posts like this answered since different people have different tastes. Just set it the way that you like. If you only only live rock, then just do what you like since there are no corals to worry about.

Just set it up how you like, I usually start with 100% on the royal, purple, blue, and UV, at least 15% on white, and however much red and green looks good and makes specific colors pop. Print out a color wheel (or a picture with a lot of colors) and put it in a ziplock then sink it in the tank. Focus on one or two colors you really want to make pop and adjust your lights accordingly. I did this and the tank looks awesome! Just make sure you pick a color you can actually get into the tank (like neon yellow-green then get a toxic splatter hammer and kryptonite candy cane). Good luck!

Red light makes plants grow, which is why we use it for refugiums. In a DT though, it causes a lot of undesirable algae growth :)
