75 Gallon (in wall) - SPS/LPS

Started with 2x DE 150W Halides - 1x actinic T5 LOVED THE COLOR. Too Much heat.

Moved to 3x Radion XR30W (gen2 upgrade to pro) - They are dying ~10 years later.

Just purchased 3x NooPsyche K7 Pro III a month or so ago.
They are OK - People rave about the color - i think they are OK but I think Old Radions looked better for some reason.
The software is quirky. I built an app to externally generate and adjust lighting profiles... it helps the bad app.. but still meh...

I suppose I would need 2x Mitras - but 04 or 06?
Can anybody tell me how these lights compare to Radions as far as overall color rendering goes. I know they are highly adjustable, but as I said with K7 - 6 channels and I just can't get them to look quite as good as the Radions.

Ease of use, quirks, problems?

Keith, AKA: reefbum on YouTube uses those with great results. Check out his channel and tanks there.

I would go with 2 mitras LX7206 I have 2 over my 48"x24"x20. And the par is incredible. Also in the GHL control center you can tune them to what ever Kelvin you like Reefbum has his mitras LX7206 tuned to 20k metal halide spectrum. I have my mitras turned down. And I'm still getting around 350 par on the sand.

Wow - 12 clusters huh?

I was hoping if I do this that 2x LX7204 would be enough

I love my Reefbreeders.com Photon 48" on my 75 gallon! Great coral growth and so much better than the 4 Kessil's I had before. I was happy with my Kessil's but heard good things about the Photon so pulled the trigger a year ago and so happy I did! The app is super and the after sales service is just amazing!

Jesse - thanks, there are several good lights out there. But i am trying to decide if I should keep the K7s or go with Mitras so that I can fully control them with the P4 - even though the K7s are brand new.

You have a lot of flexibility with the Mitras light. You can control each channel, and really set the spectrum and intensity you prefer.

Easily controlled through the app, but once you set your schedule, intensity and spectrum I really do not play with them except for maintenance when I clean the tank I make sure all whites are on so so can easily see and clean the tank or when introducing new coral enabling the acclimation mode.

GHL have a excellent solution for tanks like yours - the Mitras LED BAR 2. IMO - it combine the best of T5 tubes and LED:s. P4 have a certain port fot the BAR 2 that allows you to control each type of LED that your BAR:s have. A couple of years ago I switch to 3 pcs Mitras BAR 2 120 Deep Actinic and 1 pcs 120 Actinic. Thanks to the RGB chips in the set up - its possible to get a "White" impression of the light even if you run it heavy blue. I never regret this.

Last FTS from my display. The only adjustment I have done is white balancing (adapted one) before the shot. Compared with real life - the photo:s colours are the same

I run all on 100 % when I took the photo - the spectrum looks like this
