I have a Fluval Evo 13.5 gallon tank that has been up and running since June. In my tank I have one leather coral, 4 Zoas, a duncan coral and two acans. I have been using the stock light that has come with the tank. I have gotten decent growth but I feel I need a upgrade in my lighting. I am looking at the AI Prime 16HD. I wanted to see if this is a good choice for a upgrade for the types of corals I have or if their is a better option for my tank. This is the part of me being new to saltwater that worries me about the lighting and making the right decisions so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

AI primes for this tank would be good. Don’t over think it. With lights, someone will always give a recommendation and say “this is better”. AI primes have been talked about extensively on this forum and lots of people love them. Yes, you could always spend more $ and get something better... but depends on your future plans (sps?) Andy what other control items is important to you (control of programming and messing with spectrums etc). It’s a solid light

Agreed. There are a lot of tanks in your size that run that light, and a lot of them are very successful. I think for your size, people have even had success with acros (assuming you can provide the rest of what acros need). If you wanted to go overkill, Radion XR15, Kessil A360X or AI Hydra 32s would be the next step up, but going up to any of those would be at least a $150 more than the Prime. If it were my tank, I'd get the Prime without a second thought.
