I am setting up a new 150 tank.
I have some LS and LR to put in it.
I have a sump and good skimmer.
Just do not have the lighting set up at this time.
How much lighting is required for the first 2 - 3 weeks during the cycle period?
Do I need any light, poor lighting, moderate lighting, good lighting.....?

Thank you.

No you dont have to have any light during cycle. When you do put a light on it just start the time low like a couple hrs so you dont get a algae bloom

As Joey08 said. No lighting needed and better off not having light as the light will cause more algae problems during the cycle.

I would leave off for 2 weeks then slowly start adding light few hours per day.
