Lighting for 120 Gallon Tank

I currently have a 75 gallon tank and I want to upgrade to a 120. My current lighting is an 48" hood that has two 250w metal halide lights with four 65w HO lights and moon LEDS. My question is, if I upgrade to a 120 gallon tank that's 48" wide, with this still be enough lighting for a tank that's 24" tall and 24" deep? I'm planning on using this for fish, LPS and eventually a few SPS. I want to upgrade to LED, but I gotta take baby steps.

I'd love to go LED, but I'm not ready for those yet. I'm purchasing the tank first and was hoping to be able to recycle the old light until I can afford to go LED.
