Lighting for 180 w/ braces?

I have a 180 gallon tank (standard 72 x 24 x 24). Will 3x Photon V2 16's be enough to light across the tank adequately? I will be doing some custom mounting in a canopy and expect the lighting will be twelve inches off the water or so.
 
That should work fine. I had a 180g with a very wide center brace (18" of glass with a solid center rib of about 1". I used 2 of the RB 32" fixtures and they worked great. There was a tiny bit of shadowing, but if you didn't look for it, you would never have noticed it.

BTW, Reef Breeders has excellent customer service. I've been a customer ever since the Photons V2 version became available.
 
You should have no problems. I have three of the Reef Breeders old school units on my standard 180 about 8 inches off the water line and I have great coverage and only run them at about 35% power. There’s a little shading with the braces but not enough that it causes any issues. I would think the Photon should be even better.

Short answer? Yes! You can also use 2 x 32-V2+
