I have a 20 gallon tank with just a couple of clownfish turbo snails and shrimp but the tank is only 5 months old so i do not have any corals yet. I currently have a Corallife seascape led light with a aqueon glass top however i was told by other reefers in a different thread this lighting would not be sufficient. I came across this style light which seems like it would work to grow coral however it doesnt sit directly on the glass top it mounts to the back of the tank. my question is would this style light work if i keep my glass top on the tank? I need to keep the glass top because i have a cat that is very nosey and interested in the fish and would like to prevent any accidents.
