I am doing a 96x36x30 build. I have 7 Gen3 radion XR30 pros. I was thinking about getting another one and staggering them. I was also thinking about using the Radions along with some T5’s. Does anybody have any suggestions on the best way setup the lights? If you have an LED/T5 setup, could you please post some pics so I can get some ideas as I’m leaning toward a setup like that.

Reef breeders has 48 and 50 models. 4 of them would cover the tank well for sps. They have super high par and can light a 30" deep tank.

2 48" 8 bulb hybrid t5s would give you all the light you ever need

Did you want to use the radions or go with something else?

Found this video. Maybe it will help

I would think seven radion XR30 would cover that tank. Why do you think you need more? I’ve a 96x36x30 tank with four XR30 gen4 and five Kessil 360. Unless you plan to stuff corals right up to the front panel you can set the lights towards the back slightly.

I was looking at the aquatic life T5 hybrid but don’t T5’s have to be a lot closer to the water than LED’s? With this hybrid light, they would be at the same height

I keep my kessil 6 or 7" above the water. Doubt they need to be lower than that.
