I am upgrading from a 20 gallon to a 55 due to a good deal on a tank. I currently have an AI Prime HD on my 20 and everything seems to like it and things grow pretty well including the acros I have. I would ultimately like to get to hydra 26s to put in the hood for the 55 but would I be able to get by for a few months with having 2 AI Primes? Thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated. I also have a viaparspectra laying around and thought about putting that in the middle with the primes on the side?

it all depends on how much par you can get. I think 2 would be good, but 3 might be better if you want to do higher light depending corals. I am selling a like new AI prime if you would like to buy it, PM me

Thanks I probaly wont transfer the tank for another 4-6 weeks. Stand needs to be re painted or stained first and I need to get some rock started. Thanks for the offer. I am thinking of mounting the viaparspectre in the middle then flanked on each side a couple inches away with 2 AI Primes just until I can get a deal on 2 hydra 26s
