I am going to be setting up a 90gal bow front tank soon and i need help deciding on what lights to use. I plan to mainly have zoas, mushrooms and the like. I would also like to have a bubble tip anemone and maybe a clam of some sort. I do not have the budget to afford high end leds. I was think of using 2 of the fluval marine and reef 3.0 fixtures or Orbit marine IC Loop Pro dual led system.

I am just looking for any opinions on the two fixtures I have listed. Is there another light i should be considering? Any help is appreciated

I don't believe those lights will have enough power to support corals in the deeper areas of a 90 gallon. You may get away with growing zoas and shrooms on the top of the aquascape though.

What are the dimensions of the tank?

You could do two 16" black boxes, such as Mars Aqua LEDs. They should give you enough power to cover the entire tank and also keep the corals you want.

I just don't care for the black boxes. I may just put this project on hold for now. Thank you for the input

Ok walked out in the garage and saw the tank and changed my mind. I think Im going to go with the reef breeders Photon V2+ 48" fixture. It is way out of my budget but has everything I want as far as control. It looks like it will be enough to stock the tank with what i want. Ill just have to keep the wife from seeing the price.
