Doubling size in two months isn't evidence of a good thing. Corals and anemones stretch out if they are underilluminated, trying to expose as much of themselves to the light as possible. This is far more likely.

@ Ohio reefer- kind of looked like mine when you 1st got it. So with brighter lights I can expect mine to grow longer & thinner tentacles and lose its purple tips?
Uh, no, the tentacles are short because it is H. malu. There are two species sold as 'sebae' anemones, and a generalization for a quick look is that malu have much shorter tentacles.
Good quality LEDs from rapid or Steve's LEDs will provide more than enough light for anemones. Make sure you get some that are adjustable, as the LEDs at full brightness can and will burn corals and fish. They are far brighter than what you have now so you will have to start them low and gradually brighten them over weeks to even a couple months. I started mine at 30% and have increased it 5% weekly, some have gone even up to 10% weekly. Just don't brighten it too fast.So with rapid LEDS on my hood will I be able to provide enough lighting to sustain a nem a bubble tip or the one listed above or any?
