Lighting for anemone?

BTA, like most corals we keep, use zooxanthellae and therefore need good light for photosynthesis. IMHO BTAs are fairly adaptable to light. They can survive OK in medium low, probably prefer medium to medium high and can tolerate high lighting.

Other anemones need medium low to survive and can tolerate more. Some need medium high and can tolerate even higher.

They will move to a happy place. If they are hanging out at the very top of your rock-work you should increase lighting.
