Does anyone have any advice on lighting for blue squamosa?
I got one about two months ago from Divers Den and I decided to move it up towards the rock work (was on sand before) because I am not sure if it's receiving enough light. I know my light is enough for sps to grow and thrive on the rock so I feel that should be enough. But does anyone feel the blue squamosa would require more light than other color variations? I have had clams for years and from the look of yours (looking at the picture) the mantel is nice and extended, not overly done like it was reaching out for light. The position looks good. It should do just fine. If your parameters are good enough for SPS then your on your way to many many years of enjoyment watching your clam grow to a monster [emoji12]

Looks fine from here. I would caution you about placing a squamosa on the rock as they do not attach very well and you might loose it to a tumble.
