I'm going to be setting up a JBJ 45 biotope aquarium in 18 months and want to know what lighting I can use?( Be very specific with your answers) dimensions are 26.5 inches in length 21 inches in with and 19 inches in hight.

What type of corals and livestock are you wanting.
High light or low light.

What’s your budget?

I’d go two 360 if not three.

You can use t5 a4 -6 tube. Ati has a sweet hybred led t6. Id go 6 at 12in.
A four tube would work fine and you could add an led bar or two.

Reef-breeders photon is good one.

One Radion xr30 would probaly do it just fine. Or a couple xr15.

Reefbright is the current MH favorite. They also offer an led accessory.

A single black box would actually do just fine. I’d actually pull half the lenses and mount it at 8-10 in.
Spread and coverage would be better than the Radion imo.
Two of them would be sick.

SBreeflight makes a great B.B. and also a Light called the ultra.

Maxspect has a Light called the ethereal , one would do. I belive that’s the most powerful of the lot.

Three or four Ai primes would be cool ,(the coverage would be again, sick)
One Ai Hydra , but I’d order the wide lenses.

And any savings you may find I would honestly put into a par meter.
