Hello I am new to the forum but I have had a Nuvo 20 for about a year. I have mostly lps corals but I am starting to get more sps. Right now the tank is lit my 2 kessil a80s. I am looking to upgrade my light for more sps coral (specifically acros). I was wondering if I should go a hybrid route or go all led. My budget is about 400 dollars or less.

Welcome to R2R!

Depended on how heavy into SPS you want to get, a hybrid option is a great choice! If you're only doing a couple SPS an LED only option would work just fine :) If you like your Kessils you could up to the A360. That would cover your current stock and SPS in the future. And if you really get heavy into sps, the aquatic life hybrid would allow you to utilize the kessil and add T5's :)

Welcome! I would recommend keeping two source points to avoid too much shading. Two AI Prime HD's would be a good option for SPS and would put your right around your $400 budget.

Now if I go hybrid I could still use my a80s as the leds (I have the 3D printer)? My questions is would the 24 inch fixture be to large? the nuvo is 24 inches long but it is only 15 inches wide and the smallest size of the hybrid is 16 inches wide.

If aesthetics are factor in your decision I would recommend the two LED fixtures, much smaller overall footprint. I have the same tank and am SPS heavy and running only LED. I have a radion xr30 but the AI prime HDs are a great option
