looking for a solid reliable lighting for a reef tank. One that has a possible timer on it where it can be ran by a cellphone app. Ive looked at a local pet store and all they have is the basic led lighting. Kinda looking for one that would follow a moon cycle/daytime cycle. If you guys could post some brands for me to go look at it would be great. Thank you

Has all the bells and whistles your looking for and lightning clouds and what not

I have 2 hydra26 on a 70 cadlights just picked up the aqiticlife hybrid system for it today pretty excited

Has anyone used the DSunY Dimmanle LED Aquarium Light Programmable Coral Reef SPS LPS Marine??? thoughts/reviews on it

I've never heard of them. I'd stick to reputable brands- Kessils, AI, Radions, Hydras. Maybe a black box or two if you're tight on cash. Alternatively, T5s and/or Metal Halides are proven as well.

Check out the SBreef lights. I have three very similar lights over my 125, and the app is super easy to use. They come with upgraded and more solid cooling fans and interior parts than the cheaper made eBay lights.
Corals grow like weeds, sold $160 worth in a few months growth!
I would do two over a 60 gallon. You can set sunrise, daytime and sundown and also moonlight cycles over a 24 hr period.

Which ones have a true moon cycle that is built in and phone app.? lightening and cloud effect have no real value that I am aware of, actual moon cycle has been shown to cause spawning in some fish and corals. I am talking moon cycles that change each night from no moon to full moon not just have the moon lights cycle on and off each night.

Sorry, I used the word cycles to loosely. I meant it can cycle through a 24 hour period including moon lights. The cycles are the same every 24 hours, unless you manually change the program.
