OK, so I think we're finally pulling the trigger on a Waterbox Reef Pro this week. They give the option of buying the tank with four AI Hydra TwentySix HD lights. The difference in price is $1,580. I have two questions for you:
  1. Are those lights worth it in your opinion?
  2. If not, what lights do you recommend for a tank of this size?
I want to have something that is controllable via WiFi preferably. Also, our tank will be a mixed reed tank. Fish and all types of corals. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hope someone answer your post as I am looking at a similar set up on a red sea 525xl.

Following with a bump. Buying the 180.5 today and have had similar concerns.

The 26s are excellent lights and the only real modifications some do is add a few T5s to supplement better spread. In a mixed reef you won't have trouble growing almost anything.

I am curious if they still come with the 26s or the new 32s?

LED/T5 hybrids are all the rage lately and with black Friday sales here soon the savings you get with purchasing the lights with the tank are somewhat negligible. And, odds are, since your ordering a Waterbox even if you wait till the end of the month to order your lights you will probably get them before you receive your tank.
