I want to upgrade my leds(ecoxotic panorama marine bar), I am not convinced that they are up to par for giving sps and lps conditions to thrive. I've had a few sps frags since January and there is little to no growth. Please help with any advice or personal experience with led fixtures, there are just to many brands and I'm still a noob. I would like to keep the price under 500

Get another Ecoxotic bar, one normally isn't enough.

Im confused because some of these fixtures have like 5 watts per led and ecoxotic is a little more than one

I have a friend that uses 6 on his tank (90g), and he has SPS and LPS on an 18" deep tank.

6 prnorama pros or the panorama marines? I'm just think what would be smarter, to buy more ecoxotics or another fixture. And just curious, does he use a fan?

For example, if I get another bar ($275) and a controller ($130) I could get a more powerful system for that price. Like the razor

Yea, I hear ya. I have no idea why he bought so many bars for his system. He's just uses the Stunner strips, so he says anyways. He's got amazing light outta them from what i've seen.
But for the cost of that, I'd get another fixture.

Stunners are pretty cheap but I don't think could provide enough light for sps. Its looking like the razor is the best bang for the buck. And completely programmable. Thanks for the help.

They may not look like much, but they look awesome on his tank, and the corals are growing like weeds. I don't like em personally, but he swears by them.

Well that's the reason for this thread. One tank can keep sps with 1/3 watt LEDs (the stunners) and then others complain that 3 watt leds can barely keep lps. Its just confusing hearing all the different experiences.
