Anyone know what good lights I can use on my 27 inch deep 175 gallon bowfront. I have a blackbox on right side and a current marine pro on the left. Would it be good to get the marine pro bundle that they have www.marinedepot.com/Current_USA_LOOP_Marine_Bundle_LED_Light_Fixtures_for_Aquariums-Current_USA-CU04300-FILTFILD-vi. I have a mix of corals and fish. Or should I go with some better ones and sell what I have? So something good for all coral and depth i would like to stay with led.

You would probably need to opt for 2 32 inch Black Boxes if you don't want to break the bank and have capable lighting for all corals. If you want to stick with softies then the Current Marine lights would suffice. If money is no object, 3-4 Radion XR30w Gen 4's or AI Hydra 52's would make this tank shine something fierce!

I was thinking about getting 1 now and more later and having my high par corals under it for now

Do you have any black boxes in mind?
There are a bunch, I'm personally not a huge fan of them for aesthetic reasons but Reefbreeders is probably my favorite based on the company as a whole. All of the others like SB, Mars Aqua, and eBay Black Boxes are all basically the same thing more or less. Different brands will have different LED layouts but the spec sheets will be almost identical and the internals are very similar.

The newer orbits the pro models with lenses seem pretty dectent. A lot more power than the non lensed versions. So not a bad choice. The par specs on the site are pretty accurate as we’ve had a number of mebmers report the numbers.
As far as long term results I’ve not seen a lot of feedback , most seem pleased.

If your in a canopy the astetics won’t matter but you’ll need a bit more ventilation.
RB and SB reeflight would be my go to. They kinda bridge the $$ gap of high and low end. SB offers basics , and both offer control options. From basic to timers and ramping. It’s those options that cost extra.

Great tank btw , I love me a big bow.

this is what i have plus a orbit marine pro. not sure what the black box name is i got it local. but im looking at those ai hydra 52. they look sweet

Did you have screens made for covers or DIY?
