dont really know if this is appropriate but it is about photography just not reef photog
im looking for lighting help
im trying to take pics of some headlights as i do some retrofits but i keep getting a reflection
lighting inside is flourescent
using a canon sd1100is
any help would be appreciated

What options do you have? Do you have a tripod? AS long as the headlight isn't moving, they a long exposure time should not be a problem provided you have that tripod, or something to set the camera on.

this is actually for my brother but he lives 1000 miles away from me so i cant really help him but he said he wanted lighting equipment
they dont have a tripod and they dont really know the camera and its settings
this might be pointless but he asked and i know theres a lot of photogs here so i figured i would ask

Boy, giving advice 3rd hand is tough. Can you direct him to a photo forum, like photo.net or fredmiranda.com or dgrin.com or one of many others. He could do a little reading there and probably find what he needs.

I would be happy to help as well, but I am afraid we don't know what he is looking for.
