I currently have a Finnex Marine SE 247 light fixture. Its great for FOWLR and some hardy corals, but isn't really meant for a reef tank. Its sitting on a 4 foot 75 gallon tank. While I know I need two of these lights, I have an opportunity to get a Radion XR15 Pro G4. The spread is 24x24 which is why I need two of them for the four foot tank. However, would a single unit be better than what I have now and allow for some corals in the center of the tank?

I'm not sure if it'll be better since the ends of the tank won't really be lit (but hey no algae on the side glass) but you'll definately be able to grow any coral you want in the center. Can you use both lights for now?

No. I couldn't use both at once. One is a four foot bar that runs the length of the tank and the other is a puck. Looks like the light is pending another buyer now anyway. Time to save up for some good lights!
