So I have an IM40 AIO tank with about 35 lbs of rock, upgraded return pump, Tunze 9004 skimmer, (2) Tunze 6055 ball pumps in the display alternating left to right at varying speeds by the hour. I followed the BRS/AWW 4 month startup beginning on 5/4/21.

I currently have a half dozen zoa's a rock anemone and a small euphillia a sally lightfoot and 2 clowns and a CUC.
Everything seems happy but not hardly any growth, I did some par testing on my AI Prime HD and I was totally disappointed, without a screen and pumps off I had pretty respectable par 270 top center, 85 sand front center. However when i raised the light to spread PAR the PAR was reduced to half top center and grew a small amount on the sand. Even worse when I put the IM screen my par on the center sand fell to the upper 40's.
I just purchased a AI Hydra 52 HD and I am looking for advice on the best migration technique to use for the changeover.
So basically it looks like I am going from a single puck HD 13 LED light to a 4 puck HD 13 LED light.
I can duplicate my spectrum I am currently running as well as daylength my question is on intensity.
Do I simply reduce the new Hydra 52 by 75%, 50% or what.
I planned on moving the zoa's and mushroom to a shaded portion of the rockwork, the anemone will adjust himself.
I am planning on mounting 12" over the water.
Any good advice for me?

Use the PAR meter and adjust the 52HD down to the PAR levels you need. I always aim for about 75 on the sand, then see where the rest of the tank falls in line.

You might want to run a bit of an acclimation period if the stuff you have has been under lower PAR for a while.
