Not sure if I'm going with Radions or kessil a360 but I'm starting to plan my upgrade. I was thinking of doing something similar to ReefDudes light mount.

But, instead of having it be attached to tank/stand, I'd like to connect it to the wall via a TV mount. Something like this:

This would make it easier to move up/down/forward/back and I think it might look pretty cool. I'd assume extruded aluminum would be the way to go. But I'm not sure the best way to mount the aluminum rod to the mount. Or perhaps there is a better way to go about all this? Any thoughts?

My 90" tank for reference:

I used a TV mount for my radions for a while. I can't remember the exact type you need but it has to have the little arms coming off the mount to screw into the radion holes.

Worked perfectly until I moved them I just tank mounted them

Cool idea. Maybe you could find (or make something like) a floor mount base plate the right size and turn it sideways, e.g. https://8020.net/40-2410-black.html

Oh that's a great idea! There are plenty of 90 degree brackets, so there is a number of ways I could get that to work. Much simpler than I was expecting lol
