Please feel free to move this thread if I didn't post it at the right area.
I'm currently in limbo with what mount to purchase. I currently have a Nuvo 40 w/ Imagitarium 40 breeder and one inch ply board. I'll be picking up the 24" ATI hybrid fixture when it becomes available and add it my AI hydra 26 and prime. I'm really leaning into the Orphek mounts since I can attach it into the back sump. Would two AI HMS mounts hold the hybrid plus LED's? I was also thinking of using a metal pipe mounted on the wall. If I were to go metal pipe route, what size would I need and how much droop should I anticipate? The length of the pipe would be from 26-36 inches. Currently at work right now and my estimate for the gap between the wall and tank is about 14-18 inches. I looked at both BRS and Marine depot for stands and can't find one for my application. A custom acrylic stand would also be acceptible? What are your thoughts?
