Hi guys... I just got my new 24" led lights.... I hooked them up and they are really
Bright at full power... I don't really have anything on my tank yet as it just got done
Cycling.... However I have some polyps that closed up as soon as I put the new lights.
I lower the lights to 40% and they didn't open... Then I brought them down to 25% and nothing...
So I finally brought them down to 10% and they open up a lil but not all the way.... I would like
To know how u guys/gals acclimate your new corals... Any advice will be greatly appreciated... Thanks

Just like you did. Except you'll be raising the dimmer up once a week about 10-15%, until your LEDs get about 60%, then you can lean out what type of look you want.

When i got my LED's i put all my corals on the sand bed and slowly moved them into place over a 3 week period

Thanks for the advice CKI... I will try that technique now that I'm going to start to slowly
Add some corals to my tank. But once I acclimate a few... It won't bother them if I have to
Do this process every time I get new corals?

New corals you'll have to add to the bottom of the tank at the start.
