Lighting or other factors affecting duncan and paly

I have what I think are two separate issues. A JFox Bubbalicious Paly that gets nice and bright when it's on the frag rack but gets dull when I place it on the rockwork. It does best with the frag rack being higher. This made me think it liked higher par but perhaps at the higher position, it outside the cone of the light and receiving less par? I've tried most middle and top of the massive rock in the back but now I'm moving to areas on the peripheral of the tank or lower.

The duncans were doing well for about a month and then just closed up. I also noticed a frogspawn in a similar spot that bleached after a month, so I figured they were under too much light. I move them to the bottom front of my tank yesterday.

These xr 15s are new to me and I think that they are a lot stronger than I realized. They are 7 inches from the water and on the AB+ setting at 50% intensity. I have three over a 75 gallon. Tank is 36x24x20 LxDxH.

0 nitrate is going to cause issues. Corals need steady food supplies or at least some amount of nitrate in the water.

The only way you are going to be able to know for sure if lighting is the issue is to rent a par meter.

Another thing to note is that anytime a coral is moved, it is not going to take it lightly unless the new spot is exactly the same in terms of light color, intensity, position towards the light, etc..
