How long do you guys keep your lights on specifically for an BTA? I was keeping it on for 12hrs but I'm noticing algae growth more than ever I was doing 10hrs before I got a BTA but I heard they need at least 12 is this true??

Where's the mysis?
What lights are you using and tank size? I run LED's and it goes through a dawn-dusk-moonlight cycle. There is some form of light of varying intensities on all day for my tank. The algae is mainly fueled by excess nutrients and the light is adding gasoline to that fire.
