I have aquired 2x 72 bulb led fixtures(3w each) I know this is suppose to be the same as 400w MH.I am currently running 3x400w MH over my big tank now.I have considered changing two of them to the leds.I had actually got them to use on Tammy's new tank we had built but it is a shallow tank and I am afraid it would bleach all her softies.Please offer your oppions.These are still new in the box so if i dont use them I will be selling them at a ver good price.I am also starting a seahorse tank.

id say go for it and see how you like it. what kidna leds are they and who makes the fixture?

Keep them and try them out. Can you dim them?

I plan on building my own LED fixture in the next month of so.

Can't wait to see the seahorse tank! I have always wanted some. What kind are you planning on getting?

Made by Ecoxotic they are the Panorama fixture.Tammy's new tank is 72Lx14Hx18D.I have got to find time to build the stand and canopy for it.Working all week and being so hot and being outside all day I dont come home with alot of energy.I have not decided what type of seahorses yet,still working on that one.
