lighting question for 90 gallon reef

im improving the lights on my 90 reef and am looking at spending around $1000 for the lights. i am wanting clove polyps gsp bubble tips hammers torches and alot of acropora and anacropora, any suggestions? ive been thinking about getting a t5 mounting bracket and two 150 watt nicrew lights but wanted to ask here if that seems like a good or bad idea for a mainly sps tank? tank is 48 long 24 deep all sps will be placed in top third of aquarium.

I basically just posted this exact same question earlier this week. My 90-gallon is 48x18x24, so I ended up ordering the Reefbreeders Photon 48-V2 Pro. 4 16hds would work well.
You can start with 2 and add as needed. Good deals on used. I run 7 on 3 different systems and have 5 extra. All were purchased used.
First 4 100% last 3 50%.
1hr ramp up/down 10hrs peak will grow anything with good color, imo.

I really like this idea and the radion idea, not sure which is better I’ll have to watch some YouTube videos and when you get yours in if you could let me know how you like them etc that would be amazing if you don’t mind.

quick question im looking at the nicrew 150 watt lights (ive had good success with my 10 gallon on the 50 watt version housing softies and a bubble tip) and was wondering if two of the 150 watts and one of the 48 inch long aiprime light bars would be a option? forgive me if it sounds silly i really dont understand the par readings that certain lights give off and what reasons you use what lights vs others of the same wattage yet.

I have them all, Kessils, CCG2s, Radions, Reefbrites. Had T5s in the past. They ALL grow coral. I look for spread now, and a small profile... if I had to do it again, and now. I'd get 2 Ai blades over a 48 inch tank. Less money, good par, excellent spread. Saw a few at reef stock and was impressed. Doesn't look like a couple suspended toasters over the tank either.

Success trumps.
Go with what you know.
As said, they all grow coral. Some are more expensive but have more features. My pro upgrade for Reefbreeders has sunrise/sunset, but it does 10 increments per hour. I liked that, you can barely see it get brighter/darker.
It's all what features you want and your wallet.
