as the title state I’m upgrading tanks from a 24x24x24 to a 60x30x25. I’m currently running a 24” Ati hybrid led and I’m definitely going with the same light again. My question is should I just buy another 24” or buy a 60” and sell my current 24”?

This is all personal preference. I would buy the 60, but some people would just get the other 24. I have a 7 foot tank and I hated only having a 6 foot light on it - the ends have lower amounts of light already without having six inches uncovered. However, if you stack your rocks with nothing on the edges, then it can work out fine.

If 30" is depth, then that is no joke to light... the extra light might be good just for that. Now that I mention it, 30 inches of height is no joke either. There is a big difference once you go from 24 to 30.

30 is the width. I may just get a par meter and hang the light I have and check the readings and see what I’m working with.
