Right now I have 2 radion xr15 g6 on my 80gallon tank
Have been thinking about adding aquatic life T5 hybrid as well. Is anyone doing this and having luck. Or is the blade Led hybrid a better way to go.

That’s what I have been hearing on some of the pod cast. Just wanted to get other opinions. Due to it not being cheap and would only like to buy once. Thanks for the input

IMM, can’t beat T5.

I’m a big fan of the aquatic life t5 hybrid! Great lights and fantastic supplemental light! It’s very reliable and easy system to manage.

it’s a great idea. It will increase your electric bill but t5 is highly effective in growing coral and filling in those shaded spots. There should be more companies producing t5 hybrids in this hobby, preferably like your radion led’s wrapped with t5 lighting sold under one brand.

Ok so are you running them at 100% or are you running the dimmable type.
Also what lamps
Most people don’t dim T5, they’re more gentle than LED.

I suggest running T5 more white and blue LED for better pop.

Two ATI blue plus and two white bulbs like coral plus or aqua blue special will give a nice spectrum.

So I got my T5 fixture delivered and installed
What is a good lighting schedule to run with them in conjunction with my LEDS.

I would run them 4-8 hours as your peak time. Just keep the photoperiod you have now and turn on the T5 after a few hours of only LED. So you get blue mornings and evenings with a white midday.

To be cautious, I would start with 3 or 4 hours and slowly increase.

Ok perfect that’s kinda what I thought I just needed to make sure. Thank you for the advice I will keep posted on how it’s going.
