I'm not exactly new I've done FOWLR for awhile but I just setup a tank I want to do some corals I bought a orbit marine led light buy current which I know is not the best but I was told I could do some sps I was wondering what ones or how to figure it out I don't know much at all about coral just fish so some help would be greatly appreciated

I would start in the Reef Chemistry section. It is a good idea to understand at least the basics on levels and how things interact. Also, water changes and a skimmer become necessities. Lighting is important, but if you start of with softies you should be ok. What size tank do you have? Anything catch your eye that you like?

That light won't be adequate for a lot of corals. You might get away with keeping very low light demanding corals., but probably not sps. Skimming isn't really a necessity., but keeping nutrients in check is. I do not use a skimmer on my tanks and I have no issues with nutrients.

You'd be lucky enough to keep Softies thriving with that unit, let alone SPS. You'll need to look for units that have at least 3w leds in it.

I do have a skimmer its a remora pro c and the tank is only 38 gallons I'm just in the cycling process of the tank right now so I watched a few videos online and most people were saying soft corals were doing very well with the light but I didn't want to go to expensive cause this tank is not going to be permanent just kind of a learning tank and once I learn more about doing corals I'll build a bigger reef tank so I didn't want to break the bank with lights
