I bought my 125 gallon used. I'm not sure what the correct term for my lighting is, but they're rectangle boxes with 55 tiny lights in each. I have 2 of them. They are programmable, and I'm not sure how long they should be on. There is some form of light on the tank 24 hours a day. The settings I have are as follows....
B1- 0700 10%. W1-0800 10%. M1-1800 10%
B2-0900 25%. W2-1000 25%. M2-2000 25%
B3-1300 60%. W3-1300 60%. M3-2200 60%
B4-1500 60%. W4-1600 60%. M4-0100 60%
B5-1700 35%. W5-1800 35%. M5-0100 33%
B6-1900 10%. W6-2000 10%. M6-0100 12%
Previous owner had lights suspended 3 feet above tank, I have them 5.5 inches above tank inside canopy. The only adjustment I've made to his settings is to lower intensity. He had mostly coral, I've only got fish right now, but want to add coral eventually.
The only markings on the lights are CoraLed System. I've done a Google search, but haven't found much information.
What are your opinions on the settings? What does B, W, and M stand for?
Thank you
