I just built a 16g tank and after screwing around with a couple of fancy but inexpensive leds (one is the Current Orbit and the other a Micmol) I've decided they are both trash! The Current Orbit has a PAR of 50 at just 12" deep!
So I just bought a Reef Breeders Photon V2+ from a member here at R2R. I already have a Photon V2 (not the + version) on my 40g cube and it's an extremely good fixture. Sunrise/sunset (if you like that kind of stuff), 6 channel color control (for the picky color users), quality leds (including Cree), modern slimline look, aluminium case and with temperature control my fans only come on if I run it close to 100% power (which I don't need to do) as I get 150+ PAR at 20" deep running at 90% on both blue channels and 40% white and almost no red or green.
