Hey all, my buddy say thatvit your light is strong enough to make an anemone thrive, its strong enough to keep and maintained sps coral, is this true ?

I would not consider this a universal truth at all.

I would say that is not true. The proper way to find out if you can keep corals happy and healthy is by checking your Par levels. You can rent a Par meter at BRS and some other vendors or check if someone in your local club has one that they share. Then you can check the levels and know exactly what will thrive and where.

I agree. ...depends on the light and the type of 'nem. Some nems need more light than clams and acropora. Some don't need much.
