I am in the process of getting my setup ready. I am running a pair of radion xr15 g3 on a reefer 250.

I want to qt everything including my corals (1 qt for corals/inverts) and another for fish.

So my question is how would corals from another light like a black box be ok to transition to radions after 2 months? I know going from radion to radion is best but this qt will be on another floor and very far from the apex and wxm module.

I’m new to radions and only used black boxes in the past.

I would think your black boxes should be fine over the QT. Any time you move corals from one tank to another you will have differences in lighting. Just get your QT lighting as close as you can and keep you corals happy. When you make the move to the DT, your corals will acclimate to the new lighting to a certain degree. Might take a little while. Of course, that's just my completely unqualified opinion. :)
