I moved tanks a little over a month ago I think during the move my light got a little water inside it I use the Chinese black box after the move my light did a lot of flickering etc I’m to the point to think that the light wasnt pushing full power due to issues. Well about two days ago my blues went out. I have a new black box coming in tomorrow the question is with just the whites barely on the corals don’t look horrible most are out but my nems are out and stretched out more then they have in a long time I ran my light on 100 blue and 10-15 white. Tomorrow when I install the new one should I run blues at 50 I think the corals like less light the nems are super stretched and I like it

Evening

The nems are stretching for the light due to the reduced par. If you have only been down 2 days I would get back to where you were if everything was happy before. Other than that, it is hard to give lighting advice without knowing your tank info and other corals.

For what it’s worth, if you get saltwater in your electronics, quickly open them up and drench everything with isopropyl alcohol. This will displace the saltwater and prevent it from corroding your electronics.

After drenching it, just shake out the excess alcohol and allow the rest to evaporate. When it’s dried, put it back together and you’re back in business.

I spilled a cappuccino into the keyboard of my nice new fancy laptop and was able to do this. It fixed everything.

Just keep that in mind for the future.
