Hey guys!

I am currently running my Red Sea LED 90 on my ReefSys255. Just a question, what % should the lights be? I currently have a Hammer & Zoas

What were the hammer and zoas grown under? Lighting can not only be species specific but genotype/variety specific. What I recommend is lights be set at a specific PAR level a PAR map or light field chart done then corals purchased that will do well with the PAR levels in the system.

It's always hard to suggest what intensity to set LEDs because so many different variables need to be accounted for. We strongly suggest that for the time being you error on the side of too little light and rent a PAR meter to know exactly what light you're giving your corals. Just remember, it takes days to fry a coral with too much light and weeks to months to kill a coral with too little light.
