Hello All - looking for opinions on a lighting modification. I am currently running a Biocube 32 with stock LED lights. Fish/coral appear healthy, however, when the "daytime" light is on, the whites are overly bright and the corals appear completely washed out. I am looking to add more "blues" without breaking the bank and upgrading the entire led light system. Considering adding a fluval aquasky bar under hood and running just the blues in conjunction with the stock light (I can purchase this, adjust the coloration, and it has a built in timer for ~ $60). Interested in everyones thoughts. Good idea (worth a shot) or Bad idea (complete waste of money)?

A 12” actinic blue light bar such as reefbrite will fit under shield and work
Under the whites, you can diminish brightness by placing frosted window film for bathroom underneath

They make an lee upgrade for the biocube i got mine for a little under 200 all leds with auto timers for blue moon light, ramp up and down and white on and off. My corals and anemones seem to be loving it. I know im lnew to this hobby but they look happier since the upgrade. And it attaches to rhe existing honges. Perfect fit on mine
