Lighting question

Hello fellow reefer heads, question for you. Today I’m about to purchase a used Kessil A160aw for my Evo 13.5, and it will be my first lighting upgrade since I got the tank 10 months ago.

Is it necessary to get a spectral controller for this lamp, or should the stock settings be fine for such a small tank?

The controller will allow you to setup the time the light comes on and off with a ramping feature and spectrum settings. You can put the light on a timer if you don't want to spend money on a controller.
