Sorry this is super specific,

I currently have 3 AI Prime 16 HDs over my 100g 48x24x19 aquarium

they were always a bit underpowered for that task (mostly softies), but now I see they are melting their lenses. I have ordered replacement lenses but am also looking into replacing the lights themselves

looking at the par spread it *seems* like I can actually get better performances out of a single 48 inch blade grow. That seem right? It would be pretty nice savings Vs going with the Kessil

Thanks!

Id keep the primes if you decide to get the blade. Keep them all on the tank but run them at lower setting so they don't get so hot.

That doesn't seem right.

A 48" Blade is 100 watts on full power. A singe Prime is 59 watts at 100%.
