Hello all I would like a lighting recommendation for a 66G Starfire all reef tank. The following dimensions as followed Size: 32"W x 24"L x 20"H
I would like to keep, chalice, montis, SPS, LPS and zoa.
I'm open to LED'S or T5
1# concern is able grow SPS
2# coverage

Most reef lights on the market would do job #1.

For #2 I'd suggest light strips like Current USA's Orbit line, GHL's lightbar2, etc....after strips, I'd look at "cluster-strips" like the Maxspect Razor, Reef Breeders, etc.

I'd go 24" ATI Sunpower T5 fixture for sure. With the over flow taking up 4", you're looking at 20" display area from front to back. The 8 bulb fixture will afford you the ability to grow wall to wall SPS. If you go with the 6 bulb, you can keep the lower light corals like the chalices and zoas toward the front of the tank with SPS toward the back.

Reef breeder is one of my choices
