What lighting would you all recommend for a 4' long 75 gallon predator tank. Only coral in there are some gsp, gold paly's and a few other odd and end zoas. Not wanting to break the bank. Was thinking maybe 2 mars aqua or 1 300 watt mars aqua. Or should I go with t5's?

There's loads of 48" T5 fixtures out there, both aquarium specific and general styles. If you want LED I would say 3 16" inch black box fixtures, mars aqua or SB Reef Lights would do the trick without making your wallet cry too much.

You could also consider this: https://sbreeflights.com/home/45-ultra-45.html It's a bit more expensive though, but you would only have to worry about a single fixture.

If you're just doing low light corals and don't want to break the bank, the mars aqua would be perfect. I would do 2 of the 165 watts as it has a coverage area of about 24x24x24

2 Bulb T5 and change the bulbs every two years or when they burn out. The fish and those particular corals will grow under significantly less lightings than this.

I only say T5 because they will cover end to end better than two panels.

Any of those. They all grow corals.

The t5 will be easier. Set and forget till you change tubes

The BBs take some fiddling with and have enough power to grow anything. It's also easy to blast the corals.

Imo. 2 16's are 32in with a space is closer to 48.

Look at sbreeflight. About a $75 difference from the mars. Better spectrum.
