Hey all!

Starting up a new 40 gallon breeder with a coralife high output with moonlights. I'm going to be growing some coral...what kind of lighting schedule do you think I should use between my white lights, actinic lights, and moonlights?

Thanks!

What type of corals do you plan on growing? I ran my actinics for about 8 hours, daylights for 6 (concurrent with actinics) and moonlights for 4 hours at night.

My blue leds come on a hour before and after my main lights are on. I run both for a total of 10 hours a day. Corals seem to adapt to various lighting. Sps corals like intense lighting 8-10 hours a day.

I'm going to be growing all kinds of corals. I'm thinking about moonlights on for half an hour, atctinics on for an hour, then white lights 7 hours with atctinics still on, then atctinics for an hour and moon lights half hour. Thoughts?
