Lighting suggestion
Hey everyone. I wanted to get some opinions on my lighting schedule. I have a 180g 6ftx2x2 tank with ATI Sunpower 6x80 5ft fixture. I have extra bulbs so open to suggestions one the combination as well. Currently running 4 ATI Blue+, 1 actinic and 1 coral plus. The fixture is set for 2 bulbs(2 blue+ now), 4 bulbs(2 blue, 1 actinic and 1 coral) or all 6 at one time. Currently i have it run 4 bulb for 8 hours and 2 bulb for 2 hours before and after the main 8 hour photo period. I have acros top half of the tank and assorted softies and lps on the bottom and sides. Not as concerned with those as I can move more to the sides where the par will be less. What are your opinions on the lighting schedule? Can I run all 6 for 6-8 hours a day or should I stick with just 4? I have a Seneye and the main rock structure where I have my acros shows about 300. Not entirely sure about the accuracy of the device so was mainly wanting suggestions based off experience than “keep them between 250-350 par” because I have that covered. What I don’t have is any real life experience from people with a similar set up. Does anyone run all 6? Is that too much light? I have plenty of flow with 2 icecap gyres running 0-100 random and 2 jebaos that I have on fast pulse which can pump out 4000gph each. Nutrients are a bit on the low side with nitrates 1 and phosphates running daily between 0-.06. Alk 9, calcium 480, mag 1450 and ph 7.95-8.15. I will also add, this is not a new tank. This is an older picture. Corals are living but not sure if they are thriving yet. Coralline has encrusted everything and my diamond goby is the best sand sifter ever.
Thank you
