Lighting suggestion

I have had my Rsr 350 up and running for about 2 months, completed my cycle and added 2 clowns. I haven’t turned the lights on yet but using 2 Red Sea 90’s. I haven’t found the ReefBeat app too user friendly. I’m looking for a schedule recommendation . My wife and I get up around 6am and and leave around 7:30a and then home around 5p. I’d like the lights on in the morning and then when we are home. Should they stay in when we are away, or have them come back on when we get home and later in the evening?

I run my kessils 12 hours a day. 5 hours of peak lighting(75pct) with a ramp up and ramp down.

same thing here.
i've found provided up not blasting the system with 100% for much more than the 5 or 6 hours a day you can get away with a longer photoperiod. To do this requires either controllable or a multi-channel fixture which the most basic lighting systems don't necessarily have.
