Lighting suggestions on a 50 gallon lagoon?

Hello all- I'm looking for lighting suggestions on a 50 gallon lagoon 30" long X 19" wide X 16" deep. This lagoon will primarily be stocked with anemones and LPS with rock, pair of clowns, angelfish, damsel or cromis, and a wrasse. I have 2 AI Hydra 26HDs I was going to use. Do you think one would be enough? Would you go with a Kessil 360X or AP700? Or? Thanks for your input.

If you like the hydras I would go with them. They are more than enough light for LPS and anemones and a 16 inch deep tank. just my 2 cents. Happy reefing!

Correction- the 50g lagoon is 24" wide, not 19".

I’d still go with the hydras but mount them perpendicular. If you eventually go with SPS dominant tank you can also add t5 hybrid or a couple LED bars down the road if need be

2 Hydra 26 HD’s would be more than enough to grow everything on your list (even SPS). And would be the cheapest option. I have the Lagoon 50 with Kessil AP700 and like it so far (had it for little over 4 months..). My anemones seem to be doing much better under these versus when I had them under 2 AI Prime HD’s with diffusers.

Here is FTS with AP 700s (lights the tank well... might get the extenders to center the light a bit more).

I know this is an old post but your tank looks amazing! can you tell me the lighting settings you have for that AP700

tank looks amazing, what are the lighting settings? looking to get that light myself for a 50 lagoon
