Lighting suggestions?

Hey everyone,
I'm new to the reefing hobby and at the moment still getting my head around things.
I'm trying to figure out what lighting would be best for my situation, my tank is 24x18x18 and I have the intention of having softies and a few LPS. Don't want to blow the budget too much.

The great news is that you have a lot of lighting options, and soft/LPS will have lower requirements than SPS. What's your budget? (always the best place to start)

I'm thinking for budget around the 250 mark, maybe like middle of the pack kind of price.
