Hey Guys,

So I JUST finally upgraded my lights to the marsaqua cheap ebay chinese LEDS, and since they don't have dim up/down, I have to be more creative with my lighting, as I can only control my outlet timers for whites, and another for blues. I'm also keeping settings pretty low to acclimate the tank!

Since I'm gone most of the mid-day (and I enjoy seeing blues the most), I thought the following, let me hear your thoughts!

Blues: 06:00a-11:00a & again @ 03:00p-10:00p (12 hours total)
Whites: 03:15p-06:30p (3.5 hours total)

I thought about alternating them, blues, then whites, then blues - but then realized I wouldn't be able to maximize from whites & blues being on @ the same time to give the highest par available.

Love to hear your thoughts! The reason why I want the blues running late is so I can enjoy my tank when I get back, and don't care to look @ the tank w/ whites on haha.

That might be a bit long, I dont know if it will hurt anything though. Personally I'd just skip the 6-11 all together and do like 2-10pm only.

True
I'll try that out! Thanks
Wish there was a way to ramp these up without customization + apex

I run my blues an hour at start up. then ramp up and down everything and run 6.5hrs. Then back to blues for the last 2hrs. It seems to work..

Well these have a knob, so there is no ramp feature.
A bud who runs his does blues @ 80% for 8-10 hours, and whites at 30% for 3 hour

Just trying to figure out the schedule now that's best both for the tank & my visuals
