Lighting upgrade over Nuvo 38

I currently have a black box light that I did do par tests at my LFS and it came out ok a few years ago. I am looking at Reefbreeder Photon v2+ or an XR15 right now. Anything else I should be considering? I looked at the Hydra 32 but have had a couple friends have issues getting them shipped and having them not work out of the box.

tank is 24 by 20. I currently have softies and LPS but want to of course be able to add SPS in the near future.

I really like my v2+ and reefbreeders is a great company to work with. I'm not sure if he has a fixture for your size tank yet or not but Id look into reefi lights rather than radion.

Glad to hear people that have the v2+. I can't get them locally so wanted to hear the experience.

I was looking at the 24. It is going to more mixed really so I could possibly get by with a 16. But just seems to make sense to spend the little extra and have the extra coverage. I have been basing my comparisons on a 24" cube and just started watching the BRSTV videos,

Out of curiosity why did you say Reefb over the Radion?

Fwiw my tank is 60" long and my v2+ is 48 or 50" and the light covers my whole tank nicely (raised 10" above the water).

I've heard lots of negative feedback about the radion g5s and nothing but great feedback about the reefi lights. I've also seen the reefi extreme in person and it looks amazing
